Anticorrosive spiral pipe surface treatment process

Although anti-corrosion spiral pipe has good anti-corrosion effect, but also need to surface treatment of anti-corrosion spiral pipe, which is the key factor to ensure the service life of the spiral pipe.

Surface treatment of anti-corrosion spiral pipes includes the following:

1, cleaning

Solvents and emulsions are used to clean steel surfaces to remove oil, grease, dust, lubricants, and similar organics. However, they cannot remove rust, oxide scales, and welding flux on steel surfaces. Therefore, they are only used as an aid in antiseptic production.

2, tool rust

The main use of wire brush and other tools on the surface of the steel, can remove loose or tilt of the scale, rust, welding slag and so on. The manual tool derusting can reach Sa2 level, and the derusting of power tools can reach Sa3 level. If the steel plate surface is attached with a solid iron oxide scale, the rust removal effect of the tool is not ideal, and the depth of the anchoring lines required for anti-corrosion construction cannot be achieved.

3, pickling

General use of chemical and electrolytic methods for pickling, pipe anti-corrosion chemical pickling only, can remove oxide scale, rust, old coating, and sometimes can be used as a blasting rust after reprocessing. Although chemical cleaning can make the surface reach a certain degree of cleanliness and roughness, its anchorage is light and it is easy to cause pollution to the environment.

4, spray (throw) shot rust

Spraying (throwing) shot rust removal is the use of high-powered motors to drive the high-speed rotation of the spray (or throwing) jets, making shots, steel shots, wire segments, minerals, and other abrasives spray (or project) on the surface of the corrosion-resistant steel pipe under centrifugal force. The treatment can not only completely remove iron rust, oxides and dirt, but also the corrosion resistance of the steel pipe under the action of the abrasive impact and friction force can reach the required uniform roughness.
